BOTOX

Improve The Appearance Of Fine Lines And Wrinkles On Face

Botox IMPROVEs THE APPEARANCE OF FINE LINES AND WRINKLES ON FACE

What is Botox?

BOTOX  is FDA- approved injectable solution that helps to reduce and remove facial wrinkles. Botox is made of Botulinum Toxin Type A as well as accessory proteins. The product temporarily paralyzes the facial muscles it's injected into.

How Botox Works?

The way Botox works is quite simple. Wrinkles often appear where facial muscles are worked. When you smile, laugh or frown, you’re working many muscles of the face. Botox blocks the signals to specific facial muscles which create undesirable wrinkles. Over a short period of time with the use of Botox wrinkle lines will begin to soften and fade.

Why Botox?

  • It’s the MOST popular.
Botox has been the most popular cosmetic procedure across the country.
  • It’s the MOST established.
From 2000 to 2020, the number of annual Botox injections increased by nearly 459%.
  • It’s satisfying.
97% of patients surveyed were satisfied with the results of their Botox treatments.
  • It delivers natural looking results.
You won’t look like you’ve had “work” done. The muscle activity that causes lines and wrinkles is reduced, so you can still show expression — smile, frown, or look surprised — but without the wrinkles and creases.
  • NO downtime.
You’ll be surprised at how quick the treatment is. There's no recovery time needed. You're ready to get on with your day!
  • Quality results.
Visible results can appear within 1 to 2 days and last up to 4 months.

Botox for Lip flip

What is a lip flip?

A lip flip is a nonsurgical procedure that makes your lips appear fuller.

How it works

During lip flip procedure, Botox has been injected into parts of  upper lip.

The injection encourages the top lip to relax and “flip” outwards, giving the subtle illusion of a fuller lip.  The lip flip is a quick procedure, taking less than 2 minutes. After about a week, the injections make  lip look fuller or “poutier” without adding any volume to lip.   Lip flips generally look more natural than lip fillers.

How long does a lip flip last?

A lip flip typically lasts between two to five months.

What is the recovery time?

After 12 to 24 hours, any pain and swelling should go away.  It takes about one week for your lips to look fuller. If you want your lips to look fuller before a big event, like a wedding, you should schedule the procedure at least two weeks ahead of time to make sure that the Botox has taken full effect and that you’ve completely recovered from the lip flip procedure.

Things to consider after lip flip procedure

You should avoid exercising for the remainder of the day and avoid sleeping facedown for the night after a lip flip procedure.

It is normal to have a small bump at the injection site for a few hours following treatment. Bruising may also occur.

You can carefully eat or drink shortly after your lip flip procedure. However, take care not to eat any messy foods that may cause you to wipe your face or lips for at least three days.

Avoid using drinking straws or smoking for at least three days. Puckering or contracting your lips may cause the Botox to migrate.

You should also avoid drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours. Alcohol thins your blood, which can make bruising on your lips worse.

Botox for Gummy Smile

What is a gummy smile?

A gummy smile happens when when upper lip lifts above teeth too much, exposing the upper gums.

Reason of gummy smile

The main reason this happens that is treatable by Botox is when the muscle that elevates the upper lip is hyperactive.

Can Botox fix a gummy smile?

Botox is a very good choice for gummy smile treatment if the gummy smile is caused by a hyperactive upper lip muscle. Botox will paralyse the muscle animation and inhibit your smile moving too high up and excessively showing your gums.

BOTOX for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Botox is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the underarms.

How Botox for sweating works

Botox works by temporarily blocking the chemicals that signal it’s time for your glands to produce sweat. It doesn’t affect touch or sensation in the underarm area.  You only need one office visit to complete Botox treatment for underarm sweating. The procedure typically involves 25 injections in each armpit. Each time, your healthcare provider injects a small amount of Botox just under the skin’s surface with an extremely small needle.

You should see an improvement in sweating in about three to four days. The full, moisture-busting effects happen at around two weeks.

BOTOX for Masseter

When Botox is injected into the masseter, it’s called a masseter Botox. It’s sometimes called jaw Botox.  The treatment uses botulinum toxin to temporarily block nerve signals in the masseter. As a result, the muscle is unable to move.

What is masseter Botox used for?

Reduces teeth grinding(bruxism)

As Botox weakens the masseter, it relaxes the jaw. This stops the jaw and teeth from involuntarily clenching, reducing symptoms like:

  • tight jaw
  • pain in the jaw, neck, or face
  • tooth sensitivity or pain
  • dull headache
  • tooth damage
  • ear pain

Reduces symptoms of TMD

Like the masseter muscle, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) helps you chew. It’s a hinge that connects your lower jawbone to your skull.  If there’s a problem with your TMJ, it’s called temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). It often coexists with bruxism and masseter pain.

When Botox is injected into the masseter, it can relax the muscle and help relieve TMJ symptoms. This includes:

  • jaw pain
  • headaches
  • TMJ damage
  • poor range of motion in the jaw
  • jaw, face, and ear pain
  • jaw locking

Slims face shape

The masseter muscles can give the face a square shape. If you want your face to look slimmer, masseter Botox may be an option.

The weakening effect of Botox reduces the size of your masseters. This creates a slimmer V-shaped jawline.

BOTOX for Migraine

 Botox(OnabotulinumtoxinA), was approved in 2010 for adults who experience both;

  •  Migraine headaches
  • Headaches (including tension-type) on most days (15 or more) of the month that last 4 hours a day or longer

Does Botox Work for Migraine Headaches?

In a study of adults who get chronic migraine headaches, shots of Botox cut down the total number of days they had them or even other types of headaches. They also had more completely pain-free days each month, and they reported fewer days off work. .  Doctors think Botox works for migraine headaches because it blocks chemicals called neurotransmitters that carry pain signals from your brain. Botox is like a roadblock in that pathway. It stops the chemicals before they get to the nerve endings around your head and neck.

Insurance Coverage

Most insurance plans cover the cost of BOTOX for treatment of migraine/headache.
